Color of the year 2025

We are excited to share Pantones color of the year for 2025 Mocha Mousse. I believe people are bored with variations of white and beige and are ready to introduce more color. This soft shade of brown will be widely used in interiors.

This color and variations of it will have staying power for several years, as people appreciate the warm, earthy tones and the cozy feeling they provide. We expect to see this color used in soft goods such as furniture, rugs and window treatments as well as building materials such as tile, countertops, wallcovering and paint.

As a society, we go through waves or phases of what we think is in style and what is trendy. At Blue Jay Interiors we curate interiors that will stand the test of time; taking the trends and using them to inform a classic approach to design. For example, different hues of brown are timeless and will never go out of style, whether it be a deep rich brown, or lighter beige tones. We can also use color in small or large amounts, and in different methods architecturally or on furniture, which creates timeless yet unique designs.
